We’re incredibly proud to celebrate a truly special moment for Nadia Jane Performing Arts — our long-time student, Joshua Etienne Ralley, recently performed at the prestigious IDTA Dinner and Dance, held at the iconic Winter Gardens in Blackpool.

The event, hosted annually by the International Dance Teachers’ Association (IDTA), is a glittering evening that showcases some of the finest talent from across the UK. It was a huge honour to see Josh take the stage, representing both himself and NJPA with professionalism, passion, and poise.

A Personal Invitation from the IDTA President

Josh was personally selected by the President of the IDTA to perform as part of this year’s event — a remarkable recognition of his dedication, technical ability, and growth as a performer. Being chosen to dance at this national celebration is a mark of excellence and reflects not only Josh’s talent, but the effort and commitment he’s shown over the years.

From First Steps to Winter Gardens

Josh first walked through our doors at just seven years old, a lively and enthusiastic young dancer full of potential. Now 18, he has grown into a confident and expressive performer, admired by both peers and teachers for his work ethic and willingness to always improve.

Over the past decade, he has trained in multiple styles, consistently demonstrating his love for dance and a drive to reach new heights. His performance at the Dinner and Dance was the culmination of years of hard work — and he embraced every second of it.

A Proud Moment for Miss Nadia

“I couldn’t be prouder,” says Miss Nadia. “Josh has been part of NJPA for so many years, and to see him invited to perform on such a prestigious stage is incredibly special. He’s always been the kind of student who listens, learns, and leads with humility — it was a joy to watch him shine.”

The IDTA Dinner and Dance is one of the most celebrated events in the dance calendar, bringing together students, teachers, and professionals from all over the country. It’s an evening filled with performances, recognition, and community — and the beautiful Winter Gardens provides the perfect backdrop.

For Josh, it was a night to remember. And for NJPA, it was a proud reminder of what can be achieved through commitment, guidance, and a true love of dance.
